Team Secret Secures 2020 BLAST Bounty Hunt Title

Since the nationwide lockdown, Team Secret has been dominating the online competitive scene and leading the Bitcoin Dota 2 odds pick. The European team swept two-time The International champion OG Esports in the grand final of BLAST Bounty Hunt. The victory marks Team Secret’s fifth tournament win in a row.

Team Secret’s dominant lineup in BLAST Bounty Hunt featured Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen, Michal “Nisha” Jankowski, Ludwig “zai” Wahlberg, Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat, and captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov.

All participants in the playoffs-only format of BLAST Bounty Hunt are invited. OG and Team Secret defeated Team Nigma, Team Liquid, Alliance, and Ninjas in Pyjamas along the way in a series of BO3 matches.

Puppey and his team reached the grand finals without breaking a sweat. Even when face to face with legendary team OG Esports, Team Secret refuses to lose a single game. The two finalists dominated the playoffs round of the tournament before they booked their spots in the grand finals.

OG and Team Secret clashed in a BO5 series to bag the title, but the winning team closed out the tournament in the third round. Team Secret owned every opening of the game, and dealt more damage and secured more kills than the opposing team. OG only had an early advantage once throughout the series. It took Team Secret 45 seconds to turn the tables and get their momentum back. In the end, Team Secret defeated OG in three consecutive rounds that lasted for 30, 22, and 33 minutes

BLAST Bounty Hunt is Team Secret’s fifth consecutive 3-0 win in a grand final this year. They recently won We Play! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1, Gamers Without Borders 2020, OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: Europe/Commonwealth of Independent States, and ESL One Birmingham 2020 — Online: Europe and CIS.

The tournament offered a flexible prize pool distribution. Each team can earn VIP bounty prizes along the way and pile them up to get a huge prize share at the end of the tournament.
